The artwork depicted above is credited to Andres Maldonado, an artist from El Grullo, Jalisco. ( 15/Oct/1964 - 25/Nov/2015)
The art work captures the escense of unity with the agave plant, symbolizing Jalisco, embracing the iconic apple, symbolizing the state of Washington.
Through this imagery, we are reminded of the importance of embracing our roots even as we eagerly embrace new opportunities for growth and development in the present.
